The Gartlan Centre Fitness Classes are designed to meet the fitness requirements of a variety of clients.
*SWISS BALL: Using the popular and versatile Swiss ball, this class is designed to improve muscle strength, range of movement, joint mobility, balance and core stability. The class suits those wishing to improve their flexibility and general strength, people new to exercise or those who have had a break from regular exercise and older adults.
Friday 8.30am Beginner - Intermediate Level - *TERM BOOKING ONLY
AQUA FITNESS: The Gartlan Centre's beautiful heated indoor pool offers the perfect year round venue for our shallow and deep water exercises. Noodles and floatation belts combined with the support of the water enables participants to work on general fitness and joint mobility. With plenty of laughs along the way, our popular Aqua Fitness Classes provide participants with a fantastic form of exercise.
Monday and Wednesday 10.30am Beginner - Intermediate Level.
STEP FITNESS : This energetic class offers a total body workout that conditions and tones muscles, improves cardio-vascular fitness assisting with weight management. This class is customised to suit active participants that range from uni students through to fit and fabulous forty and fifity plus women, combining a selection of easy to follow Step routines, weights, squats, push-ups and serious abdominal training. The class is tailored to suit specific fitness needs of this group. This style of class assists its participants to maintain an impressive level of fitness and experience being energised, in order to cope with demands of their busy lives.
Friday 9.30am. Intermediate - Advanced Level

PERSONAL TRAINING : Sessions are designed to suit the needs of the individual varying from improving general fitness and core strength to increasing flexibility. Sessions are most suitable for alleviating lower back pain and improving postural imbalances. Exercises are prescribed for the client in order to continue to achieve results.
